How far along: 27 weeks + 2 days
How big is baby: the size of a Fennec fox (minus the tail), camping lantern, Charlotte Royale cake, or a bunch of bananas
Coolest developments: Baby can open and close his eyes
Best moments this week: We've been working on a name options list, and we currently have a front runner! We're going to wait to announce anything until after he's born (to make sure the name we pick suits him well), but it's exciting to have a likely option + some back ups!
Funny story: Matt and I were watching TV last night, and I was sitting on the couch drinking seltzer. Somehow, I missed my mouth completely and spilled like 4oz of seltzer in my bra. I started laughing about how badly I missed my mouth and then it turned into some combination of laughing and crying. Matt said he couldn't tell which one I was doing, and I said I couldn't either, but I wasn't able to make it stop. He paused the show we were watching to let me cry it out. Then I got cleaned up and finished drinking my seltzer with a straw.
How I've felt in my workouts: Lazy & unmotivated
Symptoms: Achy lower back pain
Cravings: a turkey sandwich from Subway (not allowed to eat deli meat)
Things we bought for baby: More shower stuff came in this week - we got some really cute clothes, books, a diaper changing pad, a bottle drying rack, and more!
What we're up to: We're getting ready for a jam-packed weekend in Texas. We have 2 baby showers (my mom is throwing one and his mom is throwing one) + a one year old's birthday party (for Matt's sister's baby).
Prayer Requests: That this baby doesn't try to arrive while I'm on a plane.
