Clean Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Looking for something chewy and sweet like a cookie but don't want to sabotage your diet or feel obligated to punish your body with extra cardio for eating it? These cookies are healthy and guilt-free! Not to mention, they are so easy to make!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 Tbs almond butter
  • 2 Tbs cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbs agave nectar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A dash of cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees
  2. Peel then mash banana in large mixing bowl
  3. Add in all of the other ingredients, mix (you will probably need to use your hands to squeeze and spread all of the ingredients evenly)
  4. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet and press down slightly to flatten into cookie shape
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon on top
  6. Bake for 10-12 min

Yield: About a dozen small cookies
