To me, being at a place where I'm not learning is torture. I don't like stagnancy. I like challenges and growth and progress. I like to track improvements. This is part of why I love blogging so much. It allows me to exercise some of the skills I use at work in a new venue, while also allowing me to stretch myself in new ways.
Over a year ago (maybe even two years), I purchased a couple classes from A Beautiful Mess -- and a friend of mine bought another class for me for my birthday. And honestly, I have not taken full advantage of any of these classes.
Here's where I'm going with this: I need to be learning, and I already paid for these classes, so I need to take them and do the homework and learn stuff. These are the classes that I have access to:
- Capture Real Life in 52 Weeks
- Blog Life
- DSLR Basics
- Photoshop for Bloggers
So here's the plan, I'm going to start the 52 week photography challenge this week. On top of that, I'm going to start the Blog Life course, which I think probably makes a lot of sense after my recent rebrand -- to better understand my audience, my categories, my passions, etc. After I finish the Blog Life course, I'll do DSLR and then Photoshop. Exciting, right?!?
What are you learning about these days?
