Narrowing down to a list of 5 is ridiculous. I don't think I'm able to do that. Thusly, my list is mostly groups of people. Whatever. 1. Matt of course. He is my husband and my very best friend. He knows everything about me and loves me. He helps me to mellow me out. As a seminary student, he also is my go to person when I have questions about scripture or biblical history. He's the best.
2. My immediate family (Mom, Dad, brother). They are relentlessly supportive of me and would do absolutely anything for me. My family helped shape me into the woman I am today. I couldn't have asked for a better, more unique, family. Each of them has their quirks which makes them effortlessly entertaining. I enjoy spending time with them.
3. My college girlfriends. I don't know who I would be without these girls. They helped me understand redemption and begin to follow Jesus with all of my heart. They were my prayer warriors, my accountability groups, my roommies, my study buddies, my ASC sisters, my best friends. I love them so much. All of them.
4. My tea party girls. Since 2006 (I think), I have hosted a spring tea party for some of my closest girlfriends. Each year, we get together in Old Town Spring, have brunch and tea (of course), and catch up on life. Most of these girls have known each other since elementary school, some since high school. Now that we are all in our twenties, we have moved apart and begun to start our own families and lives in other cities. Its so nice to dress up and just enjoy one another's company. I look forward to it all year.
5. My church friends. Ecclesia thrives on community. These are the kind of people who would bring you dinner while you are taking care of your post-op husband or take your dog out when you aren't able to. They understand selfless service. They love people well and are willing to spend their time helping others.
