Getting Back on Track

Sorry that I've been MIA for the past two weeks. Life has just been crazy! My dear friend, Caitlin, got married on fourth of July and I was honored to be one of her bridesmaids. Look how beautiful she is!!!

After fourth of July weekend, which included some bad food choices and lack of exercise, my company sent me to the Microsoft World Wide Partner Conference. ---Side note: If you didn't know, I am the Marketing Coordinator at an IT Consulting company called Insource Technology--- The week-long conference was vegan friendly, which was bittersweet. The food was all delicious, but I ate WAY too much of it! Because my job was to stand in my company's booth and talk to people, I didn't want to have to walk .5 miles all the time. I was dehydrated all week. They also offered free alcohol every evening. Dangerous.

My husband's birthday was on July 9, so of course I ordered vegan cupcakes and had 2 of them myself.

Two weeks of bad eating and being too busy/exhausted to make it to the gym everyday = 6lbs added to the scale. Craziness. It's so sad to see the past two months of hard work reverse themselves after two weeks of bad choices.

I'm getting back on track this week so that I can check six-pack abs and the splits off my goals sheet for 2013.

Anyone else feel like they've derailed lately?
