My body has been acting strange this week, and I think it's because I haven't been getting a good amount of some important micronutrients. Even though getting the right amount of macros (protein, carbs, fat) is super important, getting the proper amounts of micronutrients is really important too. Vitamins and minerals play a huge role in the way our body carries out work and metabolizes nutrients.
This morning, I made myself a little bit of green juice to take with my [often forgotten] multivitamin. It's a nice, summery, breath of fresh air in the middle of this NYC winter.
