How far along: 23 weeks + 1 day
How big is baby: the size of a chinchilla or grapefruit (almost a foot long and over one pound in weight)
Coolest developments: Consistent little kicks that remind me he's still in there.
Best moments this week: We had a follow up anatomy scan appointment because they wanted to get better views of his heart, and everything looked great!
How I've felt in my workouts: Out of breath, but not bad.
Symptoms: Runny nose, breathlessness, dry shoulders (random), back pain
Cravings: Chocolate cake
Aversions: Nothing this week
Favorite meals this week: I made a delicious kale & nectarine salad with grilled chicken
Things we bought for baby: My mom bought baby's Bob stroller, which I can't wait to use on my runs with him!
Bump: I got some new maternity clothes at Ross for super cheap. Maternity clothes definitely help me to look more pregnant vs. chubby.
What we're up to: We're beginning to transition the guest room into the nursery. We moved the bed into my office last week, and I hope we can make it over to Ikea this week to buy some storage stuff so that we can start putting away the things baby has accumulated so far.
Prayer Requests: Financial stress/proper planning. Everything is expensive and I'm hoping we can purchase the essentials that aren't gifted to us at showers. We're also trying to figure out how we will need to restructure our budget for January when we have to start paying for childcare.
