I just completed the 3rd and final week of the #mnbchallenge with Lorna Jane! Week one was focused on the "Move" aspect (exercise), week 2 was "Nourish" (clean eating), and week 3 was "Believe" (self care, optimism, etc.). So let's just get right into the recap:
Day 11 - Spoil Yourself - to spoil myself on Monday, I bought myself new lifting gloves. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know how bad I needed these (see below). I had been using my old ones for almost 2 years!!
Day 12 - Mindful Minutes - on Tuesday, I meditated for 5 minutes. I cleared my mind and just took some time to listen to my breath. It was incredibly relaxing!
Day 13 - Be Happy - on Wednesday, MNB asked us to show our happy place. Most people posted photos of beautiful scenery and vacation worthy destinations. I live in Houston, there isn't too much of that here haha. My current happy place (this is going to sound kind of lame) is on my couch, after a good workout (and shower), with Matt and Morton. We've been spending time together watching Parenthood on Netflix lately. I love it.
Day 14 - Thankful Thursday - on Thursday, I expressed how thankful I am for my two guys -- Matt (my husband) and Morton (my 65lb goofy German Shepherd mix). I love them more than bunnies.
Day 15 - Share the Love - on Friday, we were asked to give a shoutout to our #1 motivation. My favorite person to follow on Instagram right now is @christinalifts. She has made serious changes to her lifestyle that have reflected on her physique. She's currently training for a Bikini (bodybuilding) competition. It's pretty crazy how lean she looks right now. Following her on the Instas keeps me motivated to eat healthy!
