Monthly Meetup: Having Blogger Friends

Surprise!! Katie from Katiesfitscript and I are collaborating to bring you informative (and probably silly) YouTube videos each month. The topic of these videos will have a pretty wide range -- from fitness and health topics to marriage and faith.

For our first video, we decided to talk about the importance of having blogger friends.

Here are the highlights:

  1. Brainstorming
  2. Empathy
  3. Learning from each other
  4. Collaboration

Katie and I are really excited about these videos, and we already made a list of a ton of topic ideas, but we want your input too! Leave a comment below or shoot us an email if you have a topic idea that you want us to talk about.

Today's #SSEHealthyHolidays reading is John 2. Here are some ideas to ponder:

  • Something that's especially miraculous to me about the water to wine miracle is that wine is inherently aged. Jesus created something that was old.
  • I think a lot of times when we think about Jesus, we think of him as buddy Jesus who is passive and sweet. While Jesus was infinitely loving, he also had righteous anger. The cleansing of the temple is an example of that. Things that anger God should anger us, and should bring us to a place where we want to help make things right.
  • What were the people in the temple doing that made Jesus angry?
  • What does 2:25 mean when it says he "needed no one to bear witness to man for he himself knew what was in man"?
