The [Vegan] Breakfast of Champions


I'm working on improving my diet so that all the exercise that I am doing actually pays off. When you eat junk and workout, you're not really helping yourself -- but that's a different topic for different blog.

I've been experimenting with different breakfast foods lately, as it's said to be the most important meal of the day. Here is one of my new favs, packed with protein and all kinds of healthy goodness. It's so easy and, not to mention, it leaves you feeling full!


1/2 cup dry oats
Vegan protein powder (I use Perfect Fit)
Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp chia seeds


  1. Boil almond milk
  2. Pour into bowl over oats, chia, protein, and flax (I also add fresh fruit sometimes)
  3. Blend with spoon
